Jeep Cherokee Trim Levels
To help you decide which trim level is best for you, Harr CDJR has put together this trim level review. Give it a read to learn about each trim!
Latitude
The Latitude trim is the base trim of the Jeep Cherokee. With this base trim, you’ll get the standard 2.4L I-4 engine that puts out 180 horsepower and, when combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission, puts out an EPA-estimated 22 city/31 highway MPG.
The Latitude trim also gets a standard 7-inch display powered by Uconnect® 4 as the infotainment system that makes your drives more connected and more enjoyable. You can stream music through Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, make hands-free phone calls with Bluetooth®, and even use voice command to do things like change songs.
Latitude Plus
The second trim level is the Latitude Plus. The Latitude Plus builds on many of the features of the base Latitude trim. You’ll get plenty of safety and driver-assist features, including the Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, and LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning system.
For a sporty look, you’ll get standard Premium Vinyl Bucket Seats with a standard 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. If you love the feel of the wind or the sun on you while you drive, you can opt for the available dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Latitude Lux
The third trim level available for the Jeep Cherokee is the Latitude Lux. If you’re looking for a more powerful engine, the 3.2L V6 engine fits the bill. You’ll get a whopping 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
You’ll also have the option to enhance your infotainment system with the available Uconnect® 4 with the 8.4-inch display. With this upgraded system, you’ll get many of the same features, but with a larger display. Other features in this trim you can enjoy includes:
- Available Premium Alpine® Speaker System
- Available A/C with Dual-Zone Auto Temp Control
- Standard Heated Steering Wheel
Limited
The Limited is one of the higher-level trims available when you’re looking at the Cherokee. It continues to build on the previous trims and offers nice touches like premium leather-trimmed bucket seats and heated front seats.
You can also upgrade the infotainment system to the Uconnect® 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch display. With this infotainment system, you’ll also get in-vehicle navigation.
Trailhawk
The Trailhawk is the Jeep Cherokee trim that is really made for off-roading adventures. You’ll get a Selec-Terrain® Traction Management system standard on the Trailhawk which gives you better traction in a variety of conditions and drive modes like auto, snow, sport, and sand/mud.
You’ll also get the standard Jeep Active Drive II 4×4 System which helps with extra low traction speed and neutral mode for towing behind an RV.
